Happy Chinese New Year!

So my mom owns a lot of great clothes! Too bad they’re all a couple sizes too big, but sometimes they fit! For example, this beautiful Anna Sui cardigan was my size! :) It has really pretty embroidered embellishments on both shoulders, sooo of course, I had to wear it out for dim sum today with my family. I wore my Sofft brand shoes again. Very comfortable as usual, except… the lace up part irritates this bone on my foot that protrudes more than other parts of my foot :\ too much information? Sorry! haha

Anyway, here’s what I wore: Anna Sui cardigan, Gucci bag, H&M black pants, and Sofft lace-up shoes.

I actually started taking pictures outside my house, but there were a lot of cars driving by and I got sort of shy and embarrassed… especially because there’s some guy that goes to my school that lives directly across from me and there is someone that is always looking out their window! Creepy much? So I decided to move inside my house to take pictures haha Just remodeled the basement! Can’t wait to move down there and finally get my own room in SF! I think I’ve gotten way too used to having my own place in college, that I need that same privacy back in the city.

Oh yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Have a semi-planned Valentine’s Day outfit ready, except it’s planned for tomorrow (not vday) and I don’t really have any places to go haha Just an excuse to wear it I guess… Anyway, collect plenty red envelopes if you’re Chinese/Asian!

I can’t believe I almost fell for this site! So I was on Twitter and received a tweet from some random person. I clicked on the link that was sent to me and it was this site that sold “Louboutin’s,” “YSL’s”, and “Jimmy Choo’s” for cheap! I’m putting those names in quotes, because as it turns out, after reading through the Terms & Conditions on the site… they’re just replicas! Heart broken for a moment, for naive me almost actually believed that I could have owned a pair of those red sole babies for less than $200! Anyway, if you don’t care about knock offs, here’s the link! Hahah

Hellloooooo! Sooo I decided to check out this Tumblr business… and by checking out I mean actually making one. Perhaps I’ll keep more fashion/shopping/outfit-related posts on here and smaller thoughts onto Tumblr. I’ll just figure it out along the way… Anyway, if you want to follow me on Tumblr my id is iemsandy.

Might be slightly leaning towards Tumblr a little bit more, because I like the themes a little bit more and you can customize the colors without needing to pay/upgrade unlike WordPress.

Anyway, I posted this photo on my Tumblr, but I’ll post it here again to see if I’d get the same feedback!

vegas bound

Wowwww, I’ve been to Vegas way too many times! But I don’t mind it at all because it just gives me an excuse to shop for new dresses and shoes : ) Yayyy so the dress that I ordered from Lulu’s came on time! I almost ruined it with an iron!!! Thank gosh when the water dried up… the stain that appeared white in the beginning faded away *phew!* Anyway, the dress feels really light… not what I expected… and pretty shapeless hahaha but of course, threw in a belt and voila!!!

That’s the La La Love Dress (in lilac) from Lulu’s that I bought and pictured from a previous post. I’m happy how it turned out and definitely satisfied considering it was like a free dress! Follow them on Twitter or fan them on Facebook if you want to enter their contests! :)

Oh yeah, has anyone seen Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign??? I hate snakes and deathly afraid of them… probably because I had a terrible dream about them when I was young. Anyway, as much as I dislike reptiles… the ad campaign is pretty ridiculous! Ridiculous in a good way!

Soooo I’ve never heard of Sofft brand shoes and I just discovered them while shopping at Nordstrom Rack! THEY ARE SOOO COMFORTABLE!!!!! Omgggg I went in telling myself that I will only spend max $40 on a pair of shoes… but I couldn’t help it! It was super sofft and were like pillows for my feet! I wore it around the mall immediately and to dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse mmmmmmmm :) They’re not the ideal shoes I wanted to buy for Vegas… but I know for a fact that it’s comfort and style that will last me for a while!

And hooooray my Lulu’s (La La Love) dress finally came in! Wish the purple was a little darker but it still looks cute nonetheless! It was pretty much a free dress because I won $50 from their cool contests!!!! Seriously they’re so fun!

Weee anyway, those are the new items I picked up this week! Can’t wait to wear them out and take pictures, haha! I’m in search for some nice black wedged booties. I’ve seen some nice Jeffrey Campbell ones, but I’ll search for a cheaper alternative first. It’s raining and cold in Davis… sooo stay warm and healthy everyone!

I am horrible keeping up with blogging!!!! I guess in my head, I wanted to keep this closer to fashion related topics so I’ve been hesitant to write many times… but you know what… a fashion blog without knowing that someone real with a personality is writing it is not a blog and fake.

I loveeeee my Rodarte for Target cardigan!!!!!! I wore it almost everyday hahaha oh yeah, sorry if I look like a raccoon… I’ve never really put on any or know how to use eye makeup and that was like my first real experience with it! I try to stay as natural looking as I can I guess. Vegas was fun. Guess who I saw… EVA LONGORIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw her outside of her new restaurant/bar/nightclub, called Eve, that grand opened that weekend I was there. She is sooooo pretty (in person and on screen)!!!!!! That totally made my trip worth it!

It feels like almost every person in the world has a blog nowadays. Just recently discovered one of my best friends have had one for awhile… & I didn’t know until now! LOL

Rodarte for Target

About time I visited the Rodarte for Target collection in person :) Today I went shopping for home decorations to prepare for my cousins from New York that are coming to visit San Francisco for Christmas break slash New Years Eve! I’d totally switch places with them and go to New York for NYE!!!!!! But as I’ve mentioned way too many times… I’m going to Vegas for NYE.

Anyway, soooo Rodarte for Target collection! Even better in person! I love all the tulle and lace! Really wanted the gold dress, but I can’t think of where I’d where that to yet… so I put the dress back down… :( And then saw the black/white/gray sequinned dress. Really wanted it for Vegas, but I couldn’t find my size! Arrrghs! I guess I’ll try other Targets… So what did I end up buying??? The black laced cardigan! I lovessss it! It was the last one, and it wasn’t even on the racks until I saw an employee putting it back on the floor from the fitting rooms haha It’s actually a size too big… but I could work with it :) I don’t have good pics of it, but I’ll post anyway.

Eeeeks I’m so excited to wear it! So many sales all around SF, but it’s so overwhelming that I keep putting it off! I need shoes!!!!!!!!!! Something comfortable that can last me long hours for block party in Vegas! And ugh, I’m still looking for a hooded scarf!

Winterbreak

I applaud bloggers who constantly update their blogs. I, for one, need to be more like them–not be lazy! Well winterbreak is here and boy, it just feels THAT much better to be doing absolutely nothing at home HAHAHA

Since break started, I’ve gone (minimal) shopping 3 days in a row, went to Dave & Buster’s 3 days in a row, and ate chicken wings from Smoke Eaters 3 days in a row. Weather is quite chilly back here in San Francisco… & I’m craving me some hooded scarves! I saw somewhere that you can find one at H&M, so I was at the one on Santana Row (San Jose) and asked an employee about it. THAT B*TCH WAS UNNECESSARILY RUDE!!!!!! WTFF She should not work in retail if she can’t answer a simple question without an attitude. Anyway, so now I’m back to shopping for a nice hooded scarf.

Anyway, since it’s been cold, I’ve been wearing my (faux) leather jacket all the damn time:

Damn I look hella emo in the picture hahaha Oh! Those grey ankle boots are awesome!!!! It has a strap that you can unsnap so it becomes a higher length boot! How much did it cost me?? $25!! I love it when I find great deals. Got it from Shotwell (SF)! LOVEEE THAT STORE! I will definitely be going back. It just sucks b/c the store is in downtown SF and I usually drive… and that means parking = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

What else have I been doing? The bf brought me to Christmas in the Park! It was so cute! Hundreds of Christmas trees decorated by the community and plenty of life size holiday themed displays! AND THE BEST PART?? FAKE SNOW!!!!!!! It was actually foam or something, but it was so coool!

I still need to shop for shoes and dresses for Vegas!!!! I’m going for New Years Eve! Meet me there?! Gonna be crazy fun and crazy cold (I heard).
